Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief

Arts Midwest 's fundraiser for American National Red Cross

Size 550x415 agatsuma japan relief

Join the Agatsuma Ensemble and Arts Midwest in providing relief to people affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

Arts Midwest has long been a supporter of cultural exchange between the United States and Japan. This year, our Arts Midwest World Fest tour of the Japanese Agatsuma Ensemble coincides with the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

As the ensemble tours throughout the Midwest so soon after these tragic events, we recognize that many people in our communities may want to help the relief efforts. To honor these incredible artists, to provide an opportunity for our communities to contribute, and to respond to the growing need of friends and families back in Japan, Arts Midwest has created a special fundraiser for the American Red Cross Japan Relief Fund.

We encourage you—our friends, families, donors, and partners—to make a contribution to the relief effort. All donations will go directly to the American Red Cross.

Our goal is to raise $5,000. And to help reach that goal, Arts Midwest will match total gifts up to $2,500.

No gift is too small to help provide relief to those affected by the earthquake and tsunami. Thank you, in advance, for your support of this important endeavor.
