Safe Haven Rescue Zoo is an accredited wildlife sanctuary, providing interim care to orphaned and injured native Nevada wildlife eligible for reintroduction.
For those animals that could not survive in the wild, or not deemed releasable, are provided lifelong care at our sanctuary.
Safe Haven is committed to lifelong quality care. Every effort is made to ensure that each resident is ensured a nutrious diet, spacious enclosures, an active enrichment program, specialized veterinary services and staff support for happy and healthy lives at our sanctuary.
Accredited by ASA, the American Sanctuary Association and verified by GFAS, the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries, Safe Haven adheres to protocols and standards that ensures our committment to their care.
We do not buy, breed, sell or trade animals, nor are our residents for hire or used for commercial purposes.
Our priority is to provide "forever homes" to surrendered, abandoned and confiscated exotics.
Safe Haven Rescue Zoo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which is run by a very small staff and many dedicated volunteers. We are funded solely through private donations, fundraising and grants.
