Working in partnership with the community to alleviate hunger
Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors. That's who we are and what we do. Together.
FCCMP works with more than 40 community volunteer groups to feed hungry Franklin County people - families, seniors, veterans, individuals. In 2014 our program served over 23,000 free meals in Greenfield, Turners Falls and Orange to residents of Franklin County and neighboring regions.
Our Greenfield Community College Food Pantry provides 3-5 days of food each month to more than 1,200 financial aid students and their families. Our Franklin County Food Pantry in Orange provides 3-5 days of food each month to more than 17,000 of our hungry neighbors. In 2014, our food pantries distributed over 247,000 pounds of food.
Working families, multi-generational households, single parent households, senior citizens, veterans, people without homes, neighbors struggling with emotional or physical challenges, and the community at large - all find us an open, welcoming, supportive program that helps them fill the hunger gap.
Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors. We cannot do this alone.
