The Circle of Friends for American Veterans is dedicated to rallying public opinion to solve the many challenges veterans face.
Founded in 1993, Circle of Friends for American Veterans (COFAV) educates Congress and the public about the challenges facing American Veterans, in order to compel the Congress to address these glaring issues.
We fulfill our mission by:
1. Persuading Members of Congress to affirm the COFAV Veterans Bills’ of Rights (VBOR). Since January 114 Members of the 114th Congress have affirmed the VBOR.
2. Providing Information of Referral Services for American homeless veterans and referring them to governmental and non-governmental services to assist them.
3. Generating Earned Media Coverage in support of veterans, through print publications, social media, and radio interviews. The multimedia campaign creates awareness of the problems and solutions to the problems facing veterans, especially those returning from war zones, and focuses on details of specific local homeless veterans facilities.
