The Dream Foundation is on a mission to improve the lives of children and families. On #GivingTuesday help us hit it out of the park!
Learn about the Cornerstone Programs of the Dream Foundation, charitable arm of the Washington Nationals Baseball Club:
The Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy will use baseball and softball as vehicles to foster positive character development, academic achievement and improved health among at-risk Washington, D.C. youth. Located in Ward 7’s Fort Dupont Park, the Academy includes three baseball fields and clubhouse. Construction is nearly complete and academic programming began this fall for the first class of scholar-athletes.
The Washington Nationals Diabetes Care Complex at Children's National Medical Center offers a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting children with diabetes and their families. With state-of-the-art treatment rooms and a multi-functional education center, the facility houses classrooms, a media room, a demonstration kitchen, computer kiosks and various other tools to empower families battling diabetes.
The Neighborhood Initiative provides grants and in-kind donations to local non-profit organizations that are dedicated to improving the Southeast/Southwest D.C. neighborhoods surrounding Nationals Park and beyond.
